Car Harness (Medium)

Designed primarily as a restraint for a dog in a car, the Black Dog Car Harness is equally effective as a walking harness, simply by clipping a lead to the D Rings.

The Harness fits over a dog's head and the girth strap is secured with a single buckle, making this an extremely easy harness to secure - there is only one buckle to do up.

This is also an incredibly strong harness, because once secured to a lead, or in the car (using the included Seat Belt Loop) the single buckle takes no further pressure - there are no buckles to break under strain.

In January 2008 we introduced the dual slotted metal connector to improve performance when using as a Walking Harness and each harness is supplied with an integrated "Off Lead Clip" to hold the harness securely in place when your dog is running lead free.

The Seat Belt Loop (supplied with each harness) is removable and can remain in the car ready to be attached whenever your dog travels. The Seat Belt Loop attaches high on the seat belt, this sets the harness comfortably on your dog, reducing sideways twist and your dog's legs do not get tangled in the attachment strap.

Canine Car Harnesses should always be seen as a restraint, to stop your dog distracting a driver and to confine it to your chosen section of the car.

Because of its design and the choice of components, Black Dog Car Harnesses are arguably the strongest available, we strongly believe it will reduce the risk of injury, but we cannot guarantee to prevent it. No Car Harness gives your dog the same protection a human gets from a Safety Belt.
