Sometimes your good old trusty Maxi Treat Pouch may just give up the ghost after years of loyal service and you just can't face to part with it, well we now can supply replacement parts.

We have re-designed the treat pouch spring closure so it is now possible to fit a new spring without any specialist equipment.

Inserting the Hinge Pin is now just a push fit.

The hardest part may be to remove the old, broken spring.
Using the cutting teeth on a pair of pliers, grab the top of the old hinge pin and with brute strength twist and pull. It doesn't matter if you break the hinge, but be careful not to tear the Treat Pouch. Once the pin is removed, you may need to straighten the rolled ends on the old spring to allow it to be pulled out from the webbing sleeve on the Treat Pouch.

On the Replacement Spring Closure, push out one of the hinge pins - push the pointed end against a hard surface, then tap the spring end with the pliers and the pin will pop out. Now insert the Replacement Spring Closure into the webbing sleeve until the hinge ends pop out the other end. Line up the 2 parts of the Hinge and insert the pin - push to set the pin in place.

Make sure you lubricate the new hinge ends with petroleum jelly (or similar) and lubricate regularly to ensure a long life.
